Sponsors

What would we do for businesses that sponsor Music for Little Ones?

Any business that sponsors Music for Little One's will be mentioned in this blog and on our facebook.

As soon as classes begin, for any business that donates over $25 we will have a sign displayed advertising your business at each class for six months.  Any business that pledges in a reoccurring donation of ANY amount will have a permanent sign at our classes and be mentioned as a supporter during class and in all Music for Little One's publication outlets!

Music for Little One's is all about Rabun County as a community coming together - this definitely includes all of our incredible local businesses!  Please do not hesitate to contact me at gretchenechols@gmail.com if you have any questions about sponsoring us as a business.

Donate at:

OR at indiegogo or both!

Thank You Thank You Thank You to everyone!

As for individuals who have donated you will also be listed on thank you posters in class - as well as fliers and publications.  If you wish to be anonymous - please let me know in an email: gretchenechols@gmail.com

News and Updates for Music for Little Ones

Okay so more donations have been coming in - just opened an account  for Music for Little Ones.  Also filled out a grant application this morning and working on a non-profit statuf for the Music For little Ones campaign.  So excited!  Finally, as of this morning we also have a place to hold the classes and it couldn't be a more perfect place!!  The classes will be at the Nichols Center at Blue Ridge Music - owned and operated by Tom Nixon and David Nichols.  They have also started a local foundation to bring more music to more people in our county - the Southern Highland Music Foundation!  Music for Little One's hopes for a long happy partnership with Blue Ridge Music and their Music Foundation!
Also, it seems the baby and I are getting interviewed for an article on Music for Little One's!  Get back to you on when and how to see that!

Please please donate and help us reach our goal!

Please please keep sharing the links and updates - I can't thank everyone enough for their donations, support, and interest in getting this going!!

Music For Little Ones Chugging Along!

We have raised over four hundred dollars now!!  thank YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Please everyone donate, share the link donate:

So what if it happened? We raised more than $1,000 for Music for Little Ones

That would be amazing!

We could first secure the franchise fee for a longer period of time. Raising a little more would also open up the location options for the classes - as of right now we have explored the options of library(may or may not let us), Civic Center, Nichols Center, and the Rec Department(this one charges a fee).   Then we would make sure we have money around to help parents and kids who can't afford to pay the whole cost of the classes!!
If we raised enough to do that then we would look at training another teacher and getting kids instruments to take home with them.

Wildest dreams? We would be able to reach out into our neighboring counties and offer many more classes at many more times in out own county

But for now we will be very greatful to make it to one thousand dollars and get started!! We are at almost four hundred dollars as I write this and it has been maybe two weeks that this idea has been out there - I cannot thank everyone enough for their interest and support! Please keep sharing the link and telling me about the site! I am one facebook now for this -

 We are also on idigogo!

MUSIC FOR KIDS IN THE MOUNTAINS

Hello Everyone!
My name is Gretchen Echols and we live in rural community in the mountains.  We are seeking donations to start a Kindermusik in our community.  Kindermusik is a fun music and movement class for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.  Here in the mountains, there are very few community activities for parents and kids and even fewer for parents of small children.  The closest activities are over an hour round trip, this makes for unhappy toddlers and parents!  A local Kindermusik could really help bring parents and little kids closer together in our small but far flung rural home town!  Kindermusik will provide teacher training for me and materials - it will cost about seventy dollars a month for training and then the license/franchise fee will remain that each month.  Raising just $1,000 would get us up and running, trained, and leave some money to get the word out to parents and kids!

Please please please consider donating to our little tiny cause - any little bit is worth giving and will get us a little closer to making a bunch of little kids very happy.

If you cannot donate please just share share share the link!

> Thank you for your time!
